Unique Designs & Balloons

Our founder, April, began her journey after a life-changing divorce that left her as a single mother of four sons, including a child with special needs. Standing at a crossroads, a simple question from her child — "Mom, what do you do?" — sparked something within her. With limited resources but unwavering determination, April designed her very first balloon arch for a family event. What began as a simple creative project soon opened the door to a new purpose and a new chapter in her life.

Encouraged by her aunt and inspired by talented industry professionals such as Nigil and Marlene, April attended a balloon design showcase in Las Vegas. That experience opened her eyes to the incredible possibilities within the event and décor industry and forever changed the direction of her journey. Over the past two decades, April has continued to grow, learn, and build her craft — collaborating with respected organizations and creating memorable experiences for weddings, corporate events, milestone celebrations, birthdays, showers, and special occasions.

Now proudly based in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, April and her team are excited to serve the local and surrounding communities. Through exceptional balloon artistry, event décor, and party rentals, Unique Designs & Balloons is dedicated to bringing beauty, excitement, love, hope, and happiness to every celebration. We believe every event deserves to be celebrated and every milestone deserves to be remembered. We don't just decorate events — we create memories.
